MVC Vs. OOP in web site development?
I know MVC and OOP are not exactly mutually exclusive, but you prefer to develop a Web site? I have tried a MVC framework, and I have a hard time wrapping my head around. While in OOP, it seems more flexible ie I create classes, and classes instantiate, when and where I want, but with MVC I have to take action have a look for everyone, and because a controller handles always look, it is impossible to pass Data to the page for purposes such as validation, etc. So my question is – why is so popular MVC and is intended as an easy way to web development. I'm Ruby on Rails thinking could be found here but not MVC Framework application.
