Dreamweaver Why not let me add pictures to "active"?

When I try to drag and drop images in the section assets, I get a message that Dreamweaver does not know how to open png or jpeg files and I use one, other supported file xml or html. I had the opportunity to add JPEG and PNG files, the other day by dropping and dragging the same way I tried today and it worked then, why does not it work now?

"I can work with ImageReady using Photoshop CS3?

I was following a tutorial and it is difficult to actually do it is my cousin while the tutorial cs3 is Photoshop CS2 and Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. Photoshop is fine, but nothing of great change compared with ImageReady Fireworks CS3? So what is working well ImagReady and Phtosohop with cs3? Ps Can recognize ImageReady CS3?

ImageReady CS3 is integrated so we do know is that cs3 file
