website job titles

I recently published an article on job titles for different cultures. You know how accidents happen? A French magazine in the Just Landed Post that the field had a wonderful example of another job definitions for the same job title.

Job Function Confusion

The French magazine quoted salaries for web professionals. And as a copywriter, I have the French equivalent of copywriter.

Well, to be honest, I was almost expected job function are not even listed.

Understand one years ago I knew only one person who was French, which Texts was. And it gets worse. Nobody could understand around me, the value of good web writing for a website. It was all about the image. The design.

Things change. Slow.

And guess what?

I actually found a job title equivalent for web copywriter.

"Responsable editorial web"

Great!

But I end with a good giggle.

This Job function was listed under Webmaster. And cites all the salaries, the webmaster was the lowest.

Well, what can I say.

Opportunities! Opportunities! Opportunities!

Opportunities for those who go there actually.

Yes, it is sad that companies expect their French-Programmers their website content to write and get good results. But companies can not indefinitely invested in sites that do not bring in the results … care what is their culture.

In fact, this year I heard rumblings of dissatisfaction Webmaster, former IT professionals, to be held appreciate not responsibility for something they have not learned. Text and Web marketing.

And at the same time, I read articles in the American press about how companies were desperate for Geek Marketers. Professionals with years of experience in both marketing and technical side of web marketing.

Since my first visit in France, I've heard that France is 20 years behind the United States in certain practices.

Let's hope they do not realize it takes 20 years to that marketers need to be involved in the creation of a website. And that is a good text has a direct link to increased online sales.

As a big fan of Eugene Schwartz, it is very interesting to go one market:

  • From the complete lack of knowledge
  • To better understand the need to
  • Waking up to the solution

And yes, know that some people that they need a good texts capabilities if they want results online. But this also leaves another problem.

Here the market in general, French is today. I can not happen to wait for the next level. Where they actively seek professional copywriters to fix their suffering.

My Little Contribution

There are few places to learn, French, text capabilities here in France. Why? You need to know two things:

  • To the French is all in the arts, design, visuals, the reputation, the awards appearance. It really is almost as if, how a website looks and is perceived is more important than the results. And that's no exaggeration.
  • The French talk about money embarrass them. And texts brings good money. No exaggerations.

That's why I wrote a short basic course in French this year. In response to a series of people to guide me. My company is in English. That was just a friendly gesture, a few people who approached me.

And without the support people have to find e-mail course and registration … which reminds me I must go and update it.

Well, I can tell from the e-mail responses, which that derives from the awareness of the value of texts. Good news for me.

I enjoy copy critique. There is still much to learn for me too.

website forms design
In website design, what is the difference between a global navigation system and cut?

I have a CSS website project for the class. One of the rules is that I must have a "global navigation system and a cross-section navigation." I also have to have "a page, some articles related to the Sales shown in tabular form. "" Can anyone tell me the differences between the two navigation systems, and tell me what means "tabular form"? Is this a table, and he is only with different wording? Thank you!

Yes, you already know, you're reading into it in the wrong direction and makes it more difficult than it is. That is easy to do. Think Global. Think Sectional. Global world. Sectional a small part of the whole. The global navigation is used to track the user through the entire site increase. The cut is the user to navigate through that part of the website. Think of Yahoo. There are many areas and it can exist as a member of the user groups, and answers E-mail. The main page will take you to all services, the sections are. If you are in a section are, is the global navigator usually top back on you the whole or global website again. While the answers you have the answers navigator can also jump on the global navigator by clicking the Yahoo link at the top left corner of the screen. They are already used to using the global navigation systems and navigation interface, you just did not know called her that. Tabulated is basically a table. In old days, the Tab key is used to make the appearance of a table. Thats where the tabular comes. It is the presentation of display data in a table or a tabbed summarized.

What are the best ways to attract visitors to your site and submission to search engines?

I need to find the best sites or opportunities for Encouraging to know from my website. Search engine submission is a good way, but I do not want too much money for something that I have to pay in a few keystrokes can not.

Hello, your excellent question … There are a number of different approaches you can take to increase your website traffic. You can Apply to write articles in ezines from eBay, some Web-2 type of action to get blogging, etc. You can also … – Contact high PR sites in your niche and ask to provide a link or content in exchange for a link. – List RSS feed in your RSS directories. – Comment on blogs with high PR. One is to consider how much you value your Time? Then use a variety of tools and techniques that could cost you something – but in the end you save a lot of time in the long run. Here's an example: http://www.submitedge.com These people you called your site to various directories in a few keystrokes, but they cost $ 15 and above. However – think of the time you save … Another method is a 3-way links. It is always effective on your pages, and ranked in the search engines, although there tend to be some time to get "in" and costs Step under $ 50 per month to take. It is not just for targeted traffic, but there is still a big job just to make your site well ranked. Is (also it is "working day" link love – while you go do other stuff). If you would take to think about how long to do this kind of thing itself, it is (almost) a breeze. :) Have a look at: http://increasewebtrafficeasy.com Hope that helps … Let me know how you go. :) Martin
